Great job collecting money room 33! We were the third highest in money collected and have won a donut party!

Math Help

This website is a great resource for parents in helping to work with you students at math homework time. It is another district's website. Click on 4th grade or 5th grade and the module that we are working on (it is on the pages they will bring home). Please let me know if it is helpful. I will also be sending home a newsletter at the beginning of the module that explains the objective of what they are learning. I know it is not easy when you have not learned this way but I do appreciate you giving it a chance. Click here for the website.

Classroom Champions Update

In case you have not heard yet Noah Elliott is our Classroom Champion mentor this year. He is a Paralympian snowboarder. He won a gold and bronze in Pyeongcheng this past winter. He had bone cancer and had his leg amputated. He is a true inspiration! This month we will be setting goals for our school year.

Mrs. Torrez

I am excited to start this new school year. It is my 20th year of teaching. I have taught all grades except kindergarten. I am excited for the challenge of teacher a 4/5 this year! I have two children, Aaden who is 9 and Addison who is 6.  Aaden is in fourth grade and Addison is in first grade.

Every child will be working on setting a goal to be reached by June 1st. We talked about setting short term goals to help us achieve our long term goal. These came home earlier this week. Please help your child try to reach their goal. You can talk to them about goals that you have for yourself. We also have class goals we will be working on.
